So a little background. On July 27th last year, I was attacked by a large breed dog. He bit me on my right forearm. I was an avid weight lifter...working out nearly every day. I went from being very active with my family (I am also the mother of 4 children) and workouts to absolutely nothing for 7 months. I had to do physical therapy and take pharmaceutical anti - inflammatory/nerve damage meds and steroids. I am not one to take pills. I rarely take a Tylenol. However, I did not take any pain pills. I refused too. So I dealt with the pain every single day. I couldn't twist a doorknob or open a sippy cup for my boys. I had to teach myself to do everything left handed. And that made my left side angry with me! I did my physical therapy and did my at home therapies. Which were primary strengthening exercises like stretch a rubber band with my fingers and fishing marbles out of a pot of uncooked rice! Seems silly but the nerve damage was terrible.
On February 1st, I was cleared for one pound weights. I also got my first months supply of UNCORKED. And with a plan, I drank the drink and started working out with my one pound weights.
